I was mildly interested into it broke into the "chug chug chug" breakdown and generic screams. Meh

I don't care that every song has the same structure, I still love listening to this band. Their shows are awesome to see (and I know how non-christians would hate it).

I loved the last one the best mostly because of how shameless Mattie was with some of the lyrical content. I hope this one takes another step like the last one did.

I definitely really liked that! Has the influence of Failure On written all over, but only by a slight margin is it subordinate

Despite the music not being revolutionary (but still pretty solid catchy metalcore) I think the lyrics are what brings me back to this song. While For Today has always been known for really polarizing faith based lyrics, I think the hopefulness and encouragement in this song is incredible.

I thought TDWP sings about God too much.

For Today are pretty militant about their faith, so the lyrics don't surprise me much. Song was pretty bland, but I liked a few of their songs off of their previous records so I'll probably still check the album out.

yeah, they are very forward with the lyrics, I know Mattie is very devoted and puts out spoken word albums about his faith. I thought this song was decent though, its not anything special but it has all of the elements that make this band what they are. I do like the clean vocals though, its catchy.

maybe if they spent less money on the dumb lyric video they could have gotten better album art.

That wasn't too bad. Could definitely be less generic, but still catchy, and I dig the vocals in particular.

I'm a little wary after a first listen of this. I really thought they'd turned a corner with Breaker but this feels like a step backwards to me.

It's only my first impression of one song though, isn't it. I'm hopeful for the rest of the album.
