The $2,000 award is pretty sweet..they fly you to Portland and then you can go to church with them!

Now this is a kickstarter that I can get behind.

There is no way they need that much money to make an album. And touring? Give me a break.

Yeah, but I'm ok with bringing it up again, seeing as how it still needs to be funded.

I don't mind seeing it again - I was just curious why it got reposted. There doesn't seem to be a good reason.

True. Guess the post could have been worded differently, like its not the first time.

Perhaps Jason wanted to emphasize the fact that the album and film are going to be released publicly for free. Showbread was brought up in the discussion surrounding the validity of Kickstarter in The Classic Crime thread. A band using Kickstarter to fund an album for free sorta changes the game compared to other Kickstarter campaigns.

Also, completely unrelated, did you know that the film adaptation of Blue Like Jazz was funded through Kickstarter? Wild.
