Hard to summarize - he speaks at length about the reasons and that it wasn't really every member that wanted it, but that a band is like a family and compromise is always needed.

Dang, this is a bum out to hear because you know he wanted to keep doing this, but it's not really up to him I guess. I'd hate to be in his shoes, but I'll totally be at their farewell tour!

Growing up is hard. I really hope these guys come back together at some point as Thrice...sooner the better. I'd love to hear what they do in between this hiatus. Riley has always been really honest, so I really respect him talking about the status of Thrice and what happened. I have nothing but respect for all four members of Thrice. Such great guys.
