Aiden has always had a laughable image, but their live show is awesome and many of the songs are much better than a lot of other punk-pop (specifically, this new wave of "earnest-but-boring-core") often loved on this site. Tours with shitty bands like Hawthorne Heights haven't helped, either.

Is Aiden still around / what are they doing these days?

yes they are, they just got a new drummer and guitarists, and have been writing. by hearing their drummer, i have a slight feeling they'll be getting heavier.
