damn, we have a lot of overlap. my good friends from Gainesville Greenland Is Melting are amazing folk/bluegrass/punk and so is Larry and His Flask, one of the best live bands i've seen/been out with. Comadre from the west coast is legit punk/hardcore and just got hooked on Single Mothers from Canada and cannot stop playing their 7 inch.

GIM and comadre have been must-see for me since like 08. it's not a Fest without them.

Mixtapes. They are the epitome of what a fest show should be like. I'm not sure there is another band that loves playing Fest more than they do. Their show last year was one of the best parts of all of Fest and with a new record coming out and even more exposure, I have a feeling their show this year is going to be even better.

Also you can never go wrong with Banner Pilot.

LTJ played last year, so did HWM, last year was a lot of alumni for the 10th anniversary and they don't like to repeat big bands too often. Makes sense to have neither of those bands this year.
