I'm pretty stoked for this also. The songs released so far sound awesome. Crimson is my favorite Alk3 record, so I really love Skiba's dark yet super-polished stuff. I'm not familiar with the drummer's work, but Hunter is such an awesome bass player and I'm glad he's involved. Skiba's right when he said he really can play anything. I hope they take this on the road and play a few shows, it has potential for greatness. Either that or The Hell if they're choosing not to do Alk3 shows at this time.

i will always love the alkaline trio, but i have to say that when they go in their own direction, specifically matt and dan, the quality in musicianship just skyrockets from your typical trio album. glad to have consistent material from the both of them

First 2 tracks were great, especially All Fall Down. Still can't wait to hear "how the hell did we get here" too. Hopefully they include philly in their tour stops.

always wanted a finished version of "How The Hell Did We Get Here" since that youtube video of them playing it at a Trio show with it a few years ago. stoked.
