I agree. I know he's capable of brilliance but the last album was pretty bland.

Last album was lackluster at best. Hope he can back to form with this new material.

Last album was fucking great if you gave it some time. It took a while to really get into because it had a lot of different stuff on it for him but I'd definitely put it above Simple Times now, one of my favourites from 2010. So excited for this, it's supposed to be very laid back and quiet if I remember correctly.

Excited for this none the less, he's a great songwriter.
