Top Cities to Be a Hipster

Posted by: Jason Tate (04/12/12)
Travel and Leisure Magazine have listed their top cities to be a "hipster." So nice to see the weirdness of Portland getting a shout. Our microbrews are still better than yours.

Would have expected to see Minneapolis higher on that list.

I don't understand how New Orleans, San Juan, Portland (ME), and San Diego all beat out the twin cities. The rest I sort of get.

What are some good Portland breweries to look for in the midwest or to keep in mind when I head out west?

There's actually a different list that another website/blog made out there somewhere where MPLS was in the top 3.

Not that I particularly like how many hipsters are here, though

Their Inversion IPA and Obsidian Stout are my two favorite beers. Love that brewery so much.
