I mean, I don't want to be a dick, but it's not like you can raise any more awareness about child abuse. It's a very well known problem, it happens to a shit ton of people. and it's not like you can really do anything to stop it, the problem lies in the home, not in some foundation or charity.
I really appreciate a band trying to do something that helps a 'greater good'. Whether or not the donations help, it is better than being apathetic about it. Any band who has done as well as Set Your Goals has at least a small responsibility to give back in some way.

You could click your mouse twice and hit the "about us" link on their website. You'd find out about safe houses, transitional housing, counseling and crisis hotlines. Things that save lives. Things that have the potential to break the abuse cycle.

STAND! is a really good organization. If I had money I'd totally support it since I have personal experience with domestic violence/child abuse. I hope this fundraiser is successful since every little bit that someone donates helps people who endure abuse get closer to leaving a horrible life behind.
