This is the funniest band ever you'll ever see on stage. They have ninjas that carry out their gear for them. Fucking NINJAS.

Seeing them play the tiny Studio at Webster Hall on Thu. Should be a ruckus event.

FINALLY KNOW THE SUMMERFEST DATE! I've been waiting to see this band for five years. The wait was getting a little ridiculous.

The leader singer is trying to breathe as much life into these songs as he can but it's not working. The music's pretty bland. The Hives are one of those bands that don't need to "evolve". I'd be fine with 13 songs, 30 minutes. All 100 mph.

Howlin' Pelle Almqvist was so awesome at Coachella this year. Love The Hives so damn much.

EDIT: After watching these videos, yeah he tamed it down a bit perhaps because it was a nationally televised performance and they wanted to be tighter... but sweet heavens is he a mad man live. Go see this tour, thank me later.

Can't wait for this. They really do have some awesome modern singles: Main Offender, Hate to Say..., Walk Idiot Walk. I could go on (?)

I couldn't stand him at Coachella. Between every song he would perform annoyingly narcissistic monologues. Stood through about 5 of them before I left.
