The new
Raindance EP,
New Blood. Awesomely heavy and weird. If you were waiting for a band to bridge the gap between '90s metallic hardcore (Converge, Unbroken) and the violent panic of early 2000s metalcore (Poison the Well,
Last Night in Town), you're not going to find a better album. Get it when they drop it in May.
New
Sigur Rós album is unsurprisingly great. But it's still impressive that it's probably in the upper echelon of their catalog. At least for me.
These two albums are almost like the same damn thing, but they're both good, so I don't mind one bit.
