I'm beginning to think that The Gaslight Anthem simply don't know how to make bad songs. This is great, officially my most anticipated AOTY along with mewithoutYou.

Ok, math was a bit off. TGA has only released 3 songs that were over 4 minutes so I doubt any will even get close to being 5 minutes. And considering that American Slang was only 34 minutes long, I would be surprised if Handwritten actually clocked in at close to an hour.

Huh? Spin The Black Circle is actually about playing a record. There isn't much more to it. "45" just uses the record motif to describe moving on in a relationship. Did that guy listen to the song or just see the title?

Vocals on this are a new level for Gaslight. What a belting track. Not too sure about the solo though.

This song is fantastic. Giving me chills.
