In case you needed to know how to dress "pop-punk" or "metal" or "indie" -- there's some videos for that. You know what? Fuck this. Look, be yourself -- please. There are too many people in life that will try and tell you who you need to be, or how you need to look, and I get the idea that you want to fit in when you're younger. Middle-school and high-school are basically doing all you can to not be the one that gets picked on. But here's the secret: everyone's doing that. So fuck it. Be yourself. Find what makes you comfortable in your own skin every single day - and don't let online videos or the stereotypes of what some fucking youtube video tells you to be.
Well said, Jason. I've always been happy with T-shirts and jeans. I don't understand why people go out of their way and spend all of this money and time trying to look "fashionable." A lot of the time, they just look ridiculous.
PREACH. It's sad that some kids feel the need to fit in so badly that they'll go out of their way to duplicate their outfit choices, hair styles, music tastes, etc. Just be into what you're into and call it a day!
That was the saddest thing I have a watched in a long time. I like pop punk as well as many genres. What happened to maybe a band shirt and jeans if you wanted to rep a band or something. I don't think I know anyone who defines their entire style by 1 genre.
