i've said it before, but i will say it again. this is the first time since Songs From An American Movie Vol. 1 came out that i am actually really excited for a new Everclear album. after So Much For The Afterglow came out, they started to go very downhill. but this song is actually REALLY good and i can honestly say that i am once again excited for a new Everclear record.

Nothing groundbreaking - but well crafted Everclear powerpop tune.

Well, it certainly sounds like Everclear. It almost sounds like they took some of their previous songs and mixed them all together. That being said, it sounds better than most of the songs I've heard from 90s bands who have been trying to make come backs recently.

Sparkle and Fade is still one of my favorite album's to this day.

Loving the vocals on this actually - almost in the same octave as Sparkle and Fade whereas a lot the recent stuff has been a bit higher.

Art Alexakis is the reason I'm alive... Not always the best music, but his lyrics always tell deep stories. That's why I love them.

Stoked. This sounds like the Everclear I've been missing. I really liked In A Different Light, mainly because some of the production on their older stuff is awful. I hope the whole album is similar to this track, minus the synths.

I actually have Slow Motion Daydream and So Much For The Afterglow CDs in my car which I play somewhat regularly. Songs okay, but if baffles me that he's been writing songs for so long and his style hasn't changed at all

Oh wow, the flashbacks I'm currently getting. So Much for the Afterglow was the first album I ever bought and Everclear played a huge part in my childhood. This is pretty solid; nice to actually look forward to stuff from them for once.

Anyway Spark and Fade is an amazing album. The sound is still relevant today. Check it out if you haven't yet.
