i don't think i can quote this hard enough. he went from putting out one of my top 10 rap albums of all time (the cool) to putting out lasers, which was one of the worst records i heard in 2012.

Yoga Flame was the last tight thing he did. I love that track though.
This release is terrifying for me. It could redeem so much of what's happened, or taint his good past with his awful present state.

Lyrically, he's still one of the best, but what the fuck is he thinking half the time? He picks shitty beats and his whole promotion game is obsolete. Why won't big names work with him? Someone get this dude a Bangladesh beat and he'll be a king again.

I wouldn't say he's still up there lyrically either sadly. :/ I think he CAN be, but I don't think he's shown it. And I agree, his production needs a drastic change. He's got classics, he should be able to get a big producer, and even if not there are enough upcoming producers that are better than the guys he's working with.

yeah I loved that track too. Last tight thing he did though was American Terrorist III. And the last tight thing he did before that was Go to Sleep. He's still got it in him
