So who's at/went to Pouzza Fest in Montreal? Seems like it would be an amazing time! I'd go if I wasn't flying to another continent and going to Vancouver to see Refused already this year.

Don't know about thaaaaat, but a few friends are going to Osheaga in Montreal shortly... I really wanna go because Brand New and Dan Mangan are playing!

I may try and make my way out to SCENE this year. The few bands announced now aren't anything to make me want to go, but I can see the line up being worthwhile.

Cool! The only acts that really stick out to me are City & Colour, Metric and Brand New, but then again I'm not really their target market. Should be a good time though, it reminds me a little bit of Lollapalooza.

If I ever make it to NXNE, I'd probably stick around for a little longer and check it out.

Yeah, definitely one of the better bands that got nominated, although I can't say I'm surprised since Much has always been a huge supporter of that band. They introduced me to MT back in 2006 with the "Say Anything" video.

That's a bummer about Handsome Furs. I should've got into them a long time ago, but I liked Sound Kapital (if for "Serve the People").
