I picked one of these up on RSD... The record sounds OK, not great. Seems like a pretty cheaply made record. Instead of even doing a separate insert for this release they literally just through in the cd booklet from the CD's in with the record. Was really disappointed with this pressing.

EDIT: and $7 shipping is kinda crazy. would definitely not pay $20 for this.

Too bad Victory owns the rights to this. I could have seen John and Shawn teaming up with someone to do a cool vinyl package for this album that really gets people excited and relieved that the wait is over. I don't know, I really thought some cool things could have been done with this record. Oh well, I guess that was wishful thinking.

good record, but not worth giving Victory additional income off of. especially not when they halfass releases like this.

This is honestly a shame, I love this album. However, this release just screams MONEY! there is no heart or passion in Victory Records. A CD Booklet?? If you cant supply a new insert, why even bother? The vinyl itself looks nice, but idk Im not gonna spend money on something that had no effort/care put into it.

Only 100 pressed? Grabbed one anyways since I missed out on RSD.

it looks great, and I love the album...but based on this, does not seem worth it at all. will be saving up for The Color Specturm if it doesn't sell out in the next few weeks.

I'm really disappointed to hear that this pressing came out so bad. I looked for this on RSD and didn't find it, but I'm guessing that was actually a blessing.

I definitely think the clear with black smoke looks better than the yellow that I got... But yea.. this is all the record came with. no liner notes, inserts, anything. just a cd booklet and a download "card" (piece of paper printed with a standard computer printer)
