BABIP doesn't include homers, and the rockets of the wall weren't bad luck.

He seems to struggle mightily from the stretch.

I didnt see any of the game tonight but this is how things have been for him all season. He is striking out more batters and walking fewer but he tends to let things snowball if he gives up a hit or a run. His stats are actually slightly better than they were lsst season, surprisngly. I wouldnt have guessed that from watching his last couple of starts.

Yeah, he leaves the ball up out of the stretch. I mean when mike fontenot takes u deep oppo, u have a problem.

And while he wasn't walking people, he fell behind in counts and traded walks for doubles and homers.

This is why it's fantastic being a Nats fan. Getting Giolito didn't hurt our confidence in the team either.


On another topic, got offered Jesus Montero for Ben Zobrist in a Keeper league. Would have to keep Montero or McCann on the bench until either BIlly Butler or Montero gets 1B eligibility...so...hmmm.
