all jokes aside, i can get behind this.

i feel like his lyrics and melodies are very elementary. idk just how i've always felt about them.

the choruses get better, but damn he can just not write verses.

I agree with how they are simple. But, I can't really say that I am trying to do anything complex. My favorite bands have always written simple things, and that's just kinda how I learned.
I grew up listening to Green Day and Blink 182.

So good. The whole ep kills.

I think the simplicity is sometimes one of the most redeeming qualities of Hawthorne Heights.

I wouldn't call them elementary, but is there always a reason to make something "complex" when you still get a wonderful song?

It's neat a band that lives by me stick around and keep doing what they love and staying in the area

I'm not sure if this album is necessarily better than Hate, but the replay values for both of them are extremely up there. NIKI AM might be my favorite song ever. I can relate in so many ways, it's ridiculous. I'd say I can't wait for the third installment, but I honestly can, because this album will last me a great amount of car rides.

I've listened to this band since middle school (like most) and have followed them moderately closely throughout the years, but I have to say that up until now, I haven't really favored them that highly over other bands. With these recent releases (including Skeletons, actually), I really think they're starting to become one of my favorite bands.


Running In Place, holy crap. Depending on how good they are live whenever I see them, they definitely have potential to move into my top 5, if not top 3. Hope is getting me through a really hard time.

To me, this is a band I love, but I forget just how much until I hear them. Superb effort, not sure on the background of the video though aha

I like the album a lot. There are a bunch of really good, really catchy songs on it. If I had to nitpick, I totally miss the epic closer from HATE, though.
