I was just wondering if you guys had any suggestions for good bands/albums to listen to while studying. I usually listen to Sigur Ros, but I seem to listen to them every time I study, and I'd like to change it up a bit. I also listen to a lot of Explosions and other post-rock. Any suggestions as to what you guys listen to?

honestly, I just stick my library on shuffle. I work with anything.

but that wasn't very helpful. try Mogwai or Maserati if you're a big post rock guy. Regina Spektor works really nicely too.

I listen to "Jar of Flies" by Alice in Chains whenever I do my homework, which is rare. But listening to that, or pretty much any other album that I know really really well helps me focus.

Hah, that's exactly what I listen to when I study too! Sigur Ros is the best but EITS is a close second for me. I get distracted pretty easily while studying myself so post-rock is perfect for me. I also listen to Caspian, Mono and Mogwai; pretty good post-rock to add to your list. And something a tiny bit different that I love studying to is Air. Any album but Pocket Symphony is a good Air album to study to! Pocket Symphony is just average compared to their other material.
