This one hits me in a weird spot. I grew up on Fleetwood Mac from my parents, and have continued with their songs thoughtout today. Suicide is never the answer. RIP.

sad stuff. but Bob Welch wasnt part of the Fleetwood Mac lineup that everyone knows and loves. He was in the band before Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham even joined the band. Doesnt make it any less said.....but as far as significance to the band, minimal.....unless you're a big fan of their early work. John McVie, Christine McVie, Mick Fleetwood, Nicks, and Buckingham. That is and always will be Fleetwood Mac (even though everyone keeps quitting and coming back)
