Would've been stoked like 2-3 years ago, now it's just eh.

Took them long enough. Hopefully, this album won't be all slow songs like all those random songs they released made it seem like.

The difference between Blaqk Audio and AFI used to be the electronic aspect of it. I dug the whole Gary Numan, Bauhaus electro goth thing they were going for. But now that AFI has adopted all of those components it seems almost unnecessary. I hope I'm proven wrong.

Two things. First, the difference between them used to be that? Still is, always was. Decemberunderground had electronic aspects but there is a large chasm between that album and Blaqk Audio's album in terms of the electronic aspect.

Second, what do you mean "now that AFI adopted all of those components"? There last album largely moved away from the electronic sound.
