I absolutely loved Odd Soul. I hope they stick to their new sound.

The self-titled made me fall in love and they have just been blowing my mind ever sense. This cannot be not amazing.

Odd Soul was my AOTY for 2011. It was EVERYTHING i wanted Armistice to be.

Don't get why they are writing again so soon though. Maybe because Odd Soul didn't do well? It never got any attention in my opinion.

Loved Odd Soul way more than their second LP. Hope it's good.

I could never properly get into MUTEMATH. It was one of those things where, if I heard them, I wouldn't mind and I'd enjoy it, but I always felt like they were never coherent enough. They know how to play their instruments very well, but I'm not sure if they know how to write a good song.

Only listened to Odd Soul and Armistice, though. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes. Listen to the self-titled. It still blows my mind. All of them are absolutely incredible musicians. If you have a chance, see them live, too. The BEST live show I've ever been to.

That said, I don't think Odd Soul hit very hard. I like it, but it didn't do as well reception-wise as Armistice did. I would absolutely love to hear them go back to some more atmospheric stuff. I do honestly think they have it in them to make a KILLER record, but who knows, they may just want to keep up the funk/soul jams.

I am absolutely in love with this band and everything about them. Hope this turns out really well.
