I live right by Irvine, so I'm not too surprised by this, but still. It's just a concert. Hopefully they'll still ok this next year, it beats driving all the way to Pomona or San Diego.

Irvine sure doesn't seem to have a problem with the metal/rock/punk concerts that happen at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater just a few miles up the road from Great Park. They must have received complaints from citizens regarding Warped Tour, thus the reason for their "concern". Even though Orange County seems to be on the conservative side of things, there are tons of great shows that happen all the time within county lines, most of which happen without any major problems. In every bunch I guess you have to have a few whiners like their board seems to be. Well I guess I'll have my fun at Five Iron Frenzy on June 22nd in Pomona and June 23rd in Irvine!
