He's a talented guy, but this is a major turnoff. Thrice was already too religious for my tastes. I am certain I will not enjoy this.

I've seen quite a few people get fucked up by doing what they thought was god's calling for their life. But I wish him the best of luck. At least he's doing what he believes in. It's still sad to lose his talent for secular music though. He's written some amazing songs that many people, no matter what belief or religion, can relate to.
