So Happy !! I totally slept on that shit and it was sold out. So.... no begging the bands for spots.

btw - 3 out of 4 have played a #TeamPagano / Property of Zack House Show, so that's kinda cool.

No, my littlest had field hockey camp.
We had some good friends Young English playing and off course No Good News as well.
I heard The Front Bottoms were awesome as usual.

I talked to Jake Zimmerman (ECC) for a bit on Saturday, he seems like a nice guy and working the scene really hard. Your lucky to have him down there. Saturday was like a love fest for us with Second To Last, Bell weather, Nix86, Major League, With The Punches, Mixtapes, Handguns and TWY.

Solid Day when I get to watch my son doing his guest Vocals on Handguns "Song About You" followed by "Bar Bands" with TWY.
Wish I had some cool interns in the office to discuss these things with, but these kids are really not into the pop punk scene and mostly into Hip Hop, so I tell them how "Afrika Bambaataa and The Soul Sonic Force" "RUNDMC" "Eric B and Rakim" is better then anything and they all laugh at this old dude.

question for you kids ...

Last night my son played a small local show with a few others to help out a touring band coming through.
Nothing huge but there was around 75 kids there total.

The venue PA shit to bed with 2 bands left to play and so many kids left and missed a pretty dope electric / acoustic / whatever you call it / sing along by both bands who made the best out of a shitty situation.

There were alot of new faces but those who stayed were having a blast getting all sweaty and trying extra hard to help the bands get through by dancing screaming and whatnot. Bands played a few cover songs as well so EVERYONE who stayed could get in on the action. Turned out to be a pretty cool thing.

I cant understand why so many kids left. I was shocked how quick kids bolted. Maybe 20 of the 75 stayed and bands were telling everyone WE ARE STILL PLAYING STICK AROUND.

I thought kids would support their scene abit better.

Would you people have left so quick ???

As it was, we got one too many noise complaints and had to shut it down.
