Also, it doesn't seem like she planned this. I'm not really sure why we congratulate people who just randomly become pregnant. Like maybe when the kid is born, but a random unplanned pregnancy doesn't seem like something I would want to hear "CONGRATULATIONS!" for.

Haha, those are my thoughts too. I mean I'm sure she's happy about the news and I'm sure she'll be a great mom, but when girls my age-ish randomly get pregnant with their short-term bf's, I just sort of smile and nod, while on the inside I'm like, "guuuurl... but better you than me I guess." But then again I would be horrified if I got pregnant, and she seems pleased enough. This is also why I never know if I should congratulate because maybe they feel screwed.
