1.) Most people in this thread have never heard of this band before now
2.) No one here was actually there
3.) It is perfectly reasonable that he stabbed someone in self-defense
4.) People carry knives (in my hometown, everyone pretty much has a knife in their pocket)

I worked this show and was working stage when this happened. While I can't really say who did what to who first since I was downstairs and did not see the initial hitting/stabbing, only heard from people upstairs and the bands crew etc. I can say for a fact he definitely was not invited there... he was not wanted there and was not supposed to be there, people had his picture where he was supposed to get turned away. His VIP pass that he had was because he had been involved with something the day before at another venue and got an all access pass, which then he used to get into webster. And he most certainly did not go there with good intentions or anything like that as he said, he was on a mission.
