Today, we're bringing you something pretty sweet that involves arguably one of the best up-and-coming alt-rock bands around. Diamond, the group that includes members of Trapped Under Ice and Down to Nothing, is officially changing their name to Diamond Youth. To coincide with that announcement, we're bringing you an exclusive interview with the band that talks about said change as well as their upcoming recording with Brian McTernan. Be sure to read up, and if you haven't already picked up their stellar EP Don't Lose Your Cool, get it on vinyl here.
Can't say enough great things about this band. VERY excited to continue working with them in the future. It only makes sense that when you combine members of three awesome bands, you get something special.
Actually just bought their EP on vinyl two weeks ago! Went on a big Black Numbers splurge. I thoroughly dig the power pop vibe - and judging by what McTernan did with Sharks (and what I watched him do with Pinsky!), I'd say that they're in great hands.
lmao there is another band and a couple different companies called Diamond Youth on Facebook...
Here is the other band's page - http://www.facebook.com/diamondyouth
Their Facebook is gone so I thought I'd see if they started a new one.
