Was once dragged to an MC Chris show. Dude seemed nice and was entertaining.

i was in a band in 2007 that opened for mc chris in florida, he was an absolute dick to everything involved. he insisted that we not be allowed anywhere near the back of the 750 cap venue, so we had to load in through the crowd. We were guaranteed to be paid, not much, but paid, which was denied immediately after we performed. the whole thing was a f***ing mess, and every problem came from him. I can't say that he wasn't just having a bad day, but the situation remains.

Too many drugs will make you think something is a good idea at the time, but later on you realize you fucked up. Case-and-point.

Whoa whoa whoa..MC Lars is pretty creative with his raps. MC Chris is pretty lame. Two different categories here.

Here's my take on this: If Chris wanted to do things right, he should've made it up to this kid. Apologizing over Twitter and then this crying video really doesn't mean shit. This kid was a die hard fan of Chris and all Chris did was worry about himself more or less. Some shows I either work or go to, I may not like the opener. Most recently, I remember tweeting or posting on Facebook how much Stars in Stereo's cover of NiN's Closer sucked. I believe I also said I didn't care for the band at all. If I would've tagged The Used (headliner that night) and said I believe they should be off the tour, should they remove me from the venue? If they even would respond to me, I'm pretty sure they'll say "Sorry you feel that way. We like them enough to have them open for us. Go get a beer or do something else instead of watching them." That's how Chris should've handled it.

To make it up to this kid, he should have free tickets to Chris's next Philly show, maybe spend the whole day hanging with Chris. Chris doesn't have too many fans so he might want to make good with this kid.

Guys, he's an ex-catholic. And just a human being.

I don't see what chris did wrong. If I remember correctly, the kid tweeted something along the lines of "this band isn't worthy enough for me to listen to". Saying stupid shit like that should get you kicked out.
