Can someone explain to me why lots of people seem to like this but hated Crusin' California? They both seem to be the same super sugar coated pop song with the only difference being The Offspring wrote theirs as a joke. Do the threads just attracted different people or are people just that swayed by the hivemind?

Does anyone realize the irony of the lyric "We don't even have to try, It's always a good time"?

This song has absolutely no substance, but it's catchy as hell.
