Do people still buy CDs? If they made this vinyl I'd at least consider it. I wouldn't buy it, but I'd consider it.

I buy used cd's. its to the point where theres not a whole lot of value to them. I import and harldy look back at them. it feels awesome to own vinyl, though.

How do things like this work on the charts anyway?

Honestly own all these on CD. It is missing Shenanigans too it seems. I guess it is nice for newer fans but I think this would of done better in a vinyl box set. I would definitely consider getting that just the way I did with the Yellowcard one.

kind of like the Frank Sinatra Capitol Records collection i have.

Don't understand why a band would put a set like this out with NO extras for the hard-core and/or long-time fans. If you're a big fan, you've got their cds already. If you're casual fan, you probably won't spend the money.

Insomniac fucking rules. Warning is great, too, in it's own right. I remember winning tickets to their MTV concert the day it was released.

agree with you guys. what is the point of this. most people either have some of these or the casual fan won't buy the box set. so this leads me to my next question. is this the label or Green Day's idea? i'm actually a hardcore greenday fan and own 60 plus cd's (originals, singles, bootlegs etc...plus vinyl) but this really bothers me

I disagree, because I love all of their stuff. My top two albums by them are American Idiot and Nimrod. They've never made a bad album imo
