I think it's cool for people just getting into Green Day. I have all of their albums on vinyl and digital, and that's all I need, so I won't be buying this, but I still think it's cool.
agree with you guys. what is the point of this. most people either have some of these or the casual fan won't buy the box set. so this leads me to my next question. is this the label or Green Day's idea? i'm actually a hardcore greenday fan and own 60 plus cd's (originals, singles, bootlegs etc...plus vinyl) but this really bothers me
Probably just had a big backlog of CDs that were sent back from stores and they decided to repackage. Not really a loss to the label, they either make money off of it or just keep the albums around.
Do people still buy CDs? If they made this vinyl I'd at least consider it. I wouldn't buy it, but I'd consider it.
Do all you people who buy vinyl actually listen to it on your record player or is it just for the art work? Oh and yes tons of people still listen to cds. The quality is much better than an mp3. Plus technology confuses and angers me so I stay away from Ipods. Lol

Yeah, I buy vinyl and I listen to all my vinyl... at night I spin one or two while I read and relax.
