Just making sure haha. I can appreciate Maniac and the freedom he has in making music for it, but I'd rather a new Matches album regardless. I don't think anything he wrote under The Matches was really that constricted anyhow, unless having more members that might've had musical differences was a constant. |
Yeah, The Matches were probably one of the most open bands out there but they did have a formula that worked for them. I just love that he's getting to try out whatever he thinks is great, which is why I love
Mania so much. 80's inspired pop rock done the way it should be.
