Bleacher Report does have some quality writers, but to gain complete legitimacy they should really retool things on there. Don't let just anyone post, don't make page views so important/easily views, don't make the number of comments on each article the biggest thing you see on the main page, don't make everything based off a slideshow (which is only done to increase clicks/page) and don't call yourself Bleacher Report if you're trying to get reputable.

I like the guy who does the AFC East blog, but he's covering the Patriots with media credentials. That goes against the whole "Bleacher Report" mentality, and while I think it's 100% great that they're getting the legitimacy to do that, you can't call yourself Bleacher Report anymore if you have legit writers.

The site has improved a bit in the last year or so, but it still has ways to go. I hate how they rely on slideshows for basically everything and how most of them are on a completely stupid topic like "Top 20 best mustaches" or something. I know that hits and page views are important but B/R's articles always have little substance and it annoys the hell out of me.

They had a "top 50 overrated soccer players in the world" back in February which was literally just a list of 50 soccer players who make a lot of money with captions like "he's good, but is he world class?" and "he had a good season in an okay league, will he fare well in a bigger league?" It was horrendous. There is some good stuff on there, but the bad far outweighs the good for me.
