Behold the most laughable post I have ever seen on this website:
Not only will I have even less time to see all the films I wanna see if I watch stuff I'm not really interested in, I'm not gonna put myself through a movie like The Avengers because it will actually make me angry and depressed that such a ridiculous amount of money is put toward entertainment that aspires to be nothing more than mere escapist fare. You know seasonal affective disorder? When I'm in the presence of movies and shows like The Avengers, there is a marked change in my mood; I feel a sickness that borders on misanthropy. I'm not saying such movies shouldn't be made, because who am I to decide what people should get/want to see; my objection is to the inherent wastefulness or it all. Although most people I talk to disagree with me, I truly believe for movie studios to spend that much on entertainment is ethically irresponsible, as the money could be put to disease research and ending starvation.
