Good review and decent album. There are at least a handful of better albums in this style though this year. Don't see why this is the first one mentioned by most people.

Why are people doing this awful rank bands that are kind of similar thing?

I normally hate your reviews but this one and The American Scene are quite good.

This and Dikembe's latest are my favorite emo releases of the year. Better than You Blew It! for me. Grow, Up Dude is great, and I am glad they are getting big for a band that plays that style of music, but I think its pretty overrated.

I don't agree with this statement at all. I love glocca morra, and this album is great, but snowing is just on another level for me.

If you reference Mike Kinsella in the RIYL, you're most likely talking American Football. I doubt you meant Owen and I've always thought of Cap'n Jazz as more of Tim Kinsella's deal. That's why I said that.

Decent review, though. I just think this album really blows every other band that most people associate with this genre out of the water. Less generic, more personality, etc. Dikembe, Dads, You Blew It are pretty interchangeable, in my opinion, and overall pretty forgettable.

Why is Dikembe even brought up? They sound the least "interchangeable" in this genre.
