Good job Yellowcard. I was crossing my fingers for a higher charting position since this is your best album. Hopefully more people pick it up when they realize how great it is. Put Telescope on the radio and this thing will fly off the shelves.

solid album, but it just doesn't hit me the way WYTTSY did... but still yellowcard can do no wrong!

I am fairly sure that Paper Walls had near 40K on its debut (without breaking the top 10,) if that tells you anything about how much the record industry is hurting in record sales. Glad they are in the top 10, at least 3 of the top 10 shouldn't be in the top 10, #1 being one of them. Awful album. ICP, faith for humanity is dead..

Still pretty stellar if you think about where Yellowcard was in 2008. Very rare for a band to get dropped from a major label, resigned with an indie label and make the top 10 on a debut. If the SA tour and single releases are good, their next album could rank even higher. I'm thinking "Telescope" will be a huge hit, and "Sleep in the Snow" as a winter release. Amazing turn around.

And Lights And Sounds sold over 90k in its first week...

Great album definitely deserves it!

Exactly, and just think that it was #5...in today's sales that's a #1 debut.
