This I Used To Be A Sparrow album is a great discovery for me.
I don't understand the financial aspects of this site but I love it so much. Always a great bundle of albums.
I second the Mansions praise. |
Considering the state of the music industry these days, I'm guessing these guys offer a pretty compelling price to the labels. Selling 2,000 in bulk at a cost of only $1.25 (that's a total guess) is a decent paycheck for the smaller labels, while still allowing Soundsupply to make their money back, plus a tiny amount.
$1.25 per album * 2,000 copies = $2,500 per album total going to labels
$1.25 * 10 albums in bundle = $12.50 (wholesale cost of bundle)
Retail Cost of bundle = $15.00
Profit per bundle = $2.50
