On that point, there is overwhelming consensus, according to a Gallup poll released Monday, which found that 72 percent of debate viewers believed Romney did a better job than Obama on Wednesday night. Only 20 percent gave the win to Obama. And while there was some partisan split in those numbers -- "Republicans were nearly unanimous in judging Romney the winner," the pollsters report -- Democrats also judged Romney the victor, 49 percent to 39 percent.

That's the strongest win Gallup has ever measured in its post-debate polling.

He also promised to "undo the drastic, drastic cuts Obama has implemented in our defense budget".

Without promising, but with much heavy implication, he basically said we need to go to war with Syria, Iran, put troops on the ground to bolster defense in Iran and Turkey, and re-launch the war on terror because Al-Queda has grown much stronger since Obama took office.

He didn't say al-Queda, he said "radical Islam" if I recall, but he specifically mentioned the Benghazi attack which he did attribute directly to Al-Queda.

Alex Wagner on msnbc just pointed out how this is all in direct conflict with Romney's remarks in the 47% vid where he basically said he doesn't care about the middle east because there's nothing we can do.
