Muse Respond to Copyright Lawsuit

If I were going to sue Muse over copyright infringement that didn't happen, I'd claim I wrote Origin Of Symmetry, not The Resistance.

Although I like both.

It's going to be very, very difficult for this guy to convince courts that he inspired the band and copyrighted the idea of humans colonizing space, especially given that Matt Bellamy has been talking and writing about the subject for years.

Well, if they did just blatantly steal an image and a name, then it will be a little easier than you think. Especially if the guy has proof that he approached them about it in 2005.
