People complaining about autotune use are way over dramatic. Autotune is just an easy form of vocal modification. Every recorded album, and many live albums use vocal modification.
Autotune is only bad when it is used to make up for a singer's lack of singing ability or laziness. If you listened to Aim and Ignite, obviously he can sing, very well at that. So he's using autotune now (or more likely, a vocoder). That doesn't mean he isn't talent or that he's lazy. It means he's experimenting with styles (not that I like how it sounds, at all).

Daft Punk's persona is they're two robots singing. Of course no one is going to complain. Ke$ha's gimmick is she's a terrible singer.
So you want someone who hasn't warmed up or done much else then put on some headphones to sing every note exactly the way it as written.
