Regardless I'm sure he knows a thing or two about business and realizes he'd be better off promoting a single before releasing an album.

That would be awesome and Ye' has been in the studio like crazy and probably has enough material. Also with Mercy and Clique and Cruel Summer just coming out (which some people think that is his CD) he's already got peoples attention and kinda has enough promo to release an album. But as much as I would like a new Kanye album I doubt anyone over at IDJ would let this happen.

I respect Kanye's music. I think he's doing the best in the hip hop game out there. But why can't artists understand that killing a song on the radio months before an album is released is never a good idea? His name is big enough that he could announce a mixtape and sell the crap out of it without anyone even hearing what's on it, in a single day. Instead we get months and months of MERCY and COLD and GOD FLOW on the radio and now I don't even wanna buy cruel summer. He's good though. Anyway. Curious about this. Pusha T's album too.
