It makes me sad I dont like this or the other two or three songs. Dig the electronic feel, just doesnt do anything for me. Will always love their first two EPs and dig the first album

with shaun lopez producing this record, the music minus the vocals could have been crosses b-side material (MAYBE)

now that i'm hearing it more, i retract my statement.

Still disappointed. I've backed these guys hard since that first EP (with Sierra) but I just can't get into this style AT ALL.

Has anyone read the article about them in AP? I was flipping through, saw a quote about Sierra saying she's a "sexual being" and it doesn't make me want to read, haha.

Maybe, hopefully they'll have at least one song that I like on this new album.

this is my least favorite of all the songs released, though

also, so much for sounding "spacey" - what happened to that? The clips and interludes released before this - "Future" and the background music in the "new music coming soon" promo video were great.

These songs are just completely different - more generic electro rock as opposed to ambient/experimental/atmospheric, which is what I was expecting.

Unless Blake and Sierra think spacey means electro-rock.

I really hope the album doesn't sounds more like "Future" and "Domesticated".

her voice is solid...they need to strip down the instruments and have her and blake with an acoustic guitar...that is hands down their best work.

I'm not surprised listen to Tegan and Sara's new song, this is the direction most labels are pushing their bands to go in anyway. Dance music is becoming the popular thing I guess? meh I don't hate it but it's just so simple and generic and not like anything they've done in a bad way.

I actually love the new sound. Sure, I would prefer something along the lines of Fixed At Zero but I dig the new jams.

I enjoy the new songs. The first 2 were really good, the third one was really bad, and this one is decent. It gets old fast because of that silly repetition in the chorus. I can see why people are bummed that they're not what people know them for anymore, but I think they do the new sound well and i'm interested in hearing the record.
