Alter The Press Presents: Saves The Day Interview

Posted by - 12:42 PM on 09/27/12
Head on over to Alter The Press to check out a great interview they did with Chris Conley and Arun Bali of Saves The Day. They discuss the past, present, future and…puppies.
From The InterviewI think the hardest change was when our original drummer Brian Newman left in 2001. He's the guy I started the band with, so when he left I just didn't want him to go, and he was really the first person that was hard to let go of.

Damn. Sounds like the new album might be something I'll listen to more than once. I love them, obviously, but the last two have done nothing for me.

Really excited for the next album because STD's discography always seem to grow with me. SWYA will always be my fav, but Daybreak was a pretty good album and I'm really curious to hear some upbeat, poppy STD. lol at the FOB dig. STD still can't do wrong by me though. Always been nothing but sincere music.

I love UTB and Daybreak is great too but I only listened to it like a couple times too before it retired from the iPhone.

Sound the Alarm is easily my favorite of the last three. Under the Boards has some great songs but as a whole, it's probably my least favorite album from them.

The last STD album that I really loved all the way through was In Reverie. I'm a bit disappointed to hear that Solloway won't play bass on the next Two Tongues album. I really enjoy the first one

If they say that this is going to be poppy like Through Being Cool mixed with SWYA this may be a 10!
