Message From The Band

In 2002, we released our first album, Turn On the Bright Lights. We had waited close to five years for the opportunity to record an album. Needless to say this was a memorable moment for us. We never had any expectations for how the album would be received. We just wanted to present our music as an album to anyone who would be open to hearing it. It was incredible to finally tour and see people react to these songs. We never could have imagined that the album would have reached so many people throughout the world.

We spent a good deal of time this past year digging through our archives and asking others to dig through theirs in the hopes of uncovering some forgotten material. The result of our hunting and gathering has yielded this Tenth Anniversary Edition of Turn On the Bright Lights. We wanted to do something special for the fans who have always supported us. We wanted to do something special for the best fans in the world. We hope you enjoy it.

I've been trying for 10 years to see the hype of this record and I guess I never will, I've tried countless times over the years to get into it and it just never clicked. I mean it's not a bad record I just cant get into it so save my life, but congrats for them for still being around. That is rare these days.

take my money! period. this record is the first album that really blew my mind in terms of quality, and at that point i've never heard anything like it before.

With that said, $14 SHIPPING IS BULLSHIT :(

I feel the same exact way as you do. I saw the video for Obstacle 1 on mtv2 one day and immediately drove to buy the cd. It was also one of the first vinyl's I ever bought. As much as i hate $14 shipping it seems worth it for all that comes with it. I was hoping the shipping would be cheaper and not a complete rip off like MerchNow does as well.

Antics was the first album i listened to from them. Once i got their first album i couldn't make it past the "Obstacle 1". Alway had to put that damn song on repeat. I eventually got to enjoy the rest. "The New" and "Say Hello to the Angels" are my favorite songs from that TOTBL. Wonder if it'll include "The Specialist" and "Song Seven"?
