Are you kidding? Have you even been near or held a professional mic stand? One of those things whipping through the air (MUCH faster than a human body jumping 2 feet) and cracking someone in the head is way more dangerous than a 200 pound person jumping on top of severall people who all hold him up.

They might both be dangerous, but one is clearly much more dangerous than the other.
