I mean, that's complicated. I don't want our manager to be extended, and the team doing well when the organization has already expressed their desire to keep him around is probably a bad omen.

Also, it's always a challenge as a fan to have these frustrating seasons and then magical postseasons. It's so weird.

Lemme make this clear: I want the Cardinals to win the World Series more than I wanted the Nats to.

I mean, I guess it's all about terminology - I don't know, I root for the Nats but not as much as I root for the Cards? Does that make me a Nats fan? I dunno.
