i don't really understand why people say certain songs or bands should never be covered. if an artist wants to interpret another artist's work in their own way, who's to say they shouldn't? there's no reason to be close-minded.

I guess it's more of a personal thing for me. I grew up on Paul Simon, so for me, I felt like no one would be able to do my favorite song by one of my favorite performers justice. Honestly, I like Mason's version of it. It's just the nostalgia talking, I guess.

I enjoy giving these covers a listen. I could imagine Mason releasing an acoustic covers ep between a TROW and Tigers on Trains albums. Hope there's some new TROW material in the works.

we didn't win or get in the top 10 with our remix of "holocene" but gregg's american gospel remix of "hinnom, tx" got an honorable mention.
