No other sport allows one superstar to have as much of an impact. That's not a league thing, that's the rules of the game. If the NBA had WAR, guys like LeBron and KD would annually be worth 30 or 40.

Actually, LeBron's WAR would be lower in Miami than in Cleveland, since he has teammates who would pick up the slack if he were gone. It would be teammate-dependent, and about as useful as...RBI's.

Yeah, and in baseball, it's so rare that a team wins back to back titles. Compare that to the NBA who seems to have a dynasty every decade or so. Gotta love baseball for that reason.
